Dean’s practice focuses on the patent prosecution of a full range of technologies including metal packaging technology, medical devices, aerospace, and mechanical assemblies, and software industries. Dean enjoys working alongside his clients to understand the inventions his clients provide in their entirety. “By working with my clients, I can understand the big picture and can anticipate potential rejections with a good claim base.” Dean’s efficiency, attention to detail, and punctuality demonstrate he is well-equipped to provide expert support to his clients in a cost-effective manner.
Before joining the firm, Dean served in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps and retired in 2013. Dean has more than a decade of legal experience supporting U.S. Air Force operations with extensive experience reviewing space systems and providing legal support to space operations. His final assignment in the U.S. Air Force was as the Chief of Space and International Law at Headquarters Air Force Space Command. Dean now provides the same level of dedicated service and technical experience to his clients as he did in his military service.
Dean has worked with clients large and small to develop and implement global IP protection and enforcement strategies.
