Sheridan Ross is proud to announce that the firm has joined Mansfield Certification for 2024–2025. Mansfield is a structured certification process designed to ensure all talent at participating law firms and legal departments has a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership.
The Mansfield Certification framework is a science-backed and data-driven solution that helps boost inclusivity, access, and diversity in leadership at participating law firms. To maintain its effectiveness, the standards for Certification continue to evolve based on data-backed insights.
Since joining the Mansfield Certification process in July, Sheridan Ross has been working to increase the transparency and accessibility of our advancement processes and to open the door wider to ensure that all talent within the firm has a transparent, fair, and equal opportunity to be considered for leadership roles and activities. The firm is committed to this work because it benefits both the firm’s talents and its clients.
Over the course of the coming year, the firm will participate in monthly Knowledge Sharing calls with other Mansfield law firms and Diversity Lab to exchange best practices and discuss challenges. By working alongside other firms and Diversity Lab, Sheridan Ross has the structure and guidance needed to build and maintain transparent processes.
Sheridan Ross is excited to be part of the Mansfield community, which is now 365+ firms strong — the largest cohort to date. Law firms that have been consistently Mansfield certified for over five years outpace non-Mansfield firms in diversifying their executive committees and equity partnerships.
