Bradley Knepper and Benjamin Lieb’s fifth article in a series of six for InsideCounsel ran February 20, 2015. The article “Tips for patent prosecution strategies post-Alice” focuses on patent prosecution strategies for responding to subject matter rejections in patent applications involving computer implemented inventions.
The article addresses rejections under 35 USC § 101 and the affect is has had on applications assigned to the Patent Office’s group art unit 3600, which examines business method patents, as well as the grounds for such rejections.
